Originally from Chicago, Alice Parker has degrees in Psychology, Marketing, and English, ESL Certified – Bilingual–Bi-cultural Graduate Studies. Dale Carnegie Trainer for 3 years, Speech, Sales & Management. She’s traveled to 36 countries and 40 states – lived in 6, and wrote for an international business-travel magazine, and others. Corporate Business Trainer in Japan for 7 years; 8 years in San Francisco as Reg. HR Mgr. to 1000 employees. Life Coach, used her published Self-Help book, Move Past Your Past – A Process for Freeing Your Life, for numerous workshops, presentations and TV-Radio interviews. She’s passionate about her poems and her empowering, published memoir: Choices, Changes & Friends – 1970s After Divorce, being made into a Streaming-TV series. In Dallas area since 2013, member of Poetry Society of Texas, winning 1st in State several times, and past Mockingbird Chapter President 3 years. Also member of weekly, international poetry group, Corroboree. Over 15 years she’s taught Memoir Writing Classes, helping her students publish.
