
Author of the hit Inca Gods and Aliens, brings a unique blend of experiences to his writing. Raised in a USA-Mexico border town with a unique blend of international cultures. He is a third generation Nogales, Arizona Native with a family of Ranchers, Medical Doctors and his father was a University of Arizona Civil Engineer and later Immigration Officer. As a child he raised honeybees with his father and was immersed in sciences and education in local agriculture. He watched his father battle diabetes, and his advanced education included learning more about this awful disease. He has a keen interest in indigenous Americans which led to research that helped create the seeds for writing Inca Gods and Aliens. In the US Army he took classes at the Army Medical Field Services school in Basic Medical Field services, Advanced Leadership, Basic and Advanced Medical Laboratory. This led to his assignment with the Army Blood Transfusion Medical Research Laboratory where his teams developed procedures to type human tissue and match tissue to allow successful transplantation of human organs. Other research within his team also allowed extension of blood viability from seven days to forty-two days. His academic studies include degrees in Liberal Arts, Microbiology, and Medical Technology leading to his Registry as an MT(HEW) and MT(ASCP). His career includes 50 plus years as a bench tech, instructor, and laboratory manager including weekends as Chief Medical Technologist for a portable field hospital with the Arizona Air National Guard. He also has a natural ability with computers and software engineering that influenced the last 25 years of his career with a Medical Laboratory Information System Management company where he wrote software for laboratory instrument interfaces and installed and trained in hospitals and laboratories across the US and Western Europe. This unique blend of life and academic experiences has equipped him with the tools to intertwine scientific insights with mesmerizing fictional tales.
