Lee G. Edwards was born on December 27,1961 in Tuskegee Alabama. He is the son of Margaret Metcalf and Marvin Metcalf.

Mr. Edwards was inspired to write R&B/Sou Music: A Fan’s View because he believed so many Black artist from producers to singers have not received the recognition that they deserved ever since he began listening to music in 1965. Moreover, this book is for the avid soul music love and as he/she reads along they can say: “OH YEAH, I REMEMBER THAT SONG AND/OR I REMEMBER WHEN….ENJOY THE JOURNEY!!!
