Born in 1940 and raised in California, Merlene Howard developed an early, profound connection to both Scripture and the written word. A devoted servant of God and a retired U.S. Postal Service veteran with 30 years of service, Merlene’s poetry is a beautiful confluence of biblical truth and heartfelt rhyme. As a mother, grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, Merlene also finds joy in knitting, singing, and prayer.
