About The Author
Adedayo loves living life, after a hard time trying to live by faith and not by sight. Her friends call her Dayo, finding her interesting, perplexing, fun and a free spirit. She is a spiritual poet and is on a mission to write as many poems as possible to reach out to spiritual sensitive souls, so that they can overcome their weaknesses and live life longer, stronger, wiser, with fuller faith (even if it is as small as a mustard seed!)
When people read Dayo’s poems they are either moved, inspired, interested or impressed! Some even find her poems informative, refreshing, powerful, well written and enjoyable! Even sometimes mysterious, yet thought provoking! She started writing poetry when in her early teens. Continually writing her poems through experience, people, inspiration and the insights from the Holy Bible, driving her unstoppable creativity! Some readers are entertained when she performs at spoken poetry slams, birthday parties, baby showers, bridal showers, charity events, talent shows at the faith community, spiritual retreats and also for her friends, family and relatives.
Her book, ‘Deja-Vu, God Loves You, Not Impossible’ was celebrated at the London Book Fair 2024. She was also interviewed by the famous actor Logan Crawford and by the radio presenter Kate Delaney. She currently works as a replenishment sales assistant for ‘Poundland’, a general merchandise retailer. In her spare time she loves watching marvel films, listening to podcasts, networking, reading the bible, playing badminton, writing books, eating hot chilli oil and singing in the worship team at the faith community. She is often heard by the neighbors singing and rehearsing her poems and songs non-stop.
