About The Author

Until recently the longest Neil ever Randolph Stuart Hunter spent in one place was a mere three years. Born in England from Irish stock, his childhood was a whirlwind of experiences. He first attended a war-torn school in Khartoum, Sudan. At seven, he lived in Jeddah learning Arabic, being sex-trafficked and driven to school in the back of a stretch Rolls, complete with mini-bar. The contrast of his early years was sharp; at eight, he returned to England attending a prestigious boarding school in Kent running barefoot through woods in the snow. By eleven, the trajectory of his life shifted again, to New Zealand. There he attended University to study Law, ultimately finding his niche in Anthropology and English Literature. Confronting his upbringing led to a series of wild events chronicled in this novel, Thunderbird. Neil’s professional path has also been eclectic. He navigated the rapids as a Whitewater Guide, woke up Wellington as a Student Radio breakfast show host, and served as the Secretary of the board for a Tattoo Museum. Recently, he has been behind the lens, a key camera operator for Racing.com in Australia. Today he is writing a fantasy story, about an Orc called Ozzy.
