Randy Halford

Cartoonist Randy Halford of “Left Field” specializes in both humor and satire and, of this date, has authored sixteen books. He created the title from two things: 1. He is left-handed. 2. His imagination tends to be way out in “left field”. Drawing since childhood, he feels he’s inherited his talent from his father (who was a good drawer as a boy). During high school, he won a poster contest and had his works on display. He majored in art while attending community college. He learned some skills but gradually developed his own style and concepts as time went by. When trying to get his cartoons syndicated for comic strips failed, he turned to publishing his cartoons into books as a means of getting exposure. He has attended vending events in both Idaho and Northern California. He has gained further notice in various magazines. He continues to draw new works to this day and lives in his native state of California.
