Walter Abbott was born and raised in Jackson hole, Wyoming. He grew up on a small ranch about five miles south of town. After world war II he moved with is parents to Northern Utah where he received his formal education and established a career in the Banking and Financial Services business. Later on in life he and his family decided to moved to Colorado. The beauty of Colorado became an inspiration for his writing. He loves the mountains and the West. His first book was a novel, Tortured Spirit followed by his second novel, Along A Broken Trail.
